Long Thanh Golf Club is widely considered to be the best course in south Vietnam and has previously been voted the most beautiful course in the country.
Located in Long Thanh town, just 40 minutes from Ho Chi Minh and 70 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the golf club is home to two courses, designed by Ron Fream.
Golf Courses at Long Thanh Golf Club
Bordered by the Don Naj River and set on 350 hectares of grassy hills, both courses at Long Thanh Golf Club offer spectacular views of the stunning surroundings. The serene setting is perfect for a round of golf and with both courses kept in immaculate condition due to the Paspalum fairways and tifdwarf Bermuda grass on the greens, golfers are sure to enjoy exciting golf.
Hill Course:
Like the name suggests, the Hill Course features heavy undulation, rolling fairways and elevation changes throughout. Known as the more challenging of the two courses due to the hilly terrain, this is a sure test for even low handicappers. Palm trees line many of the fairways while some of the shorter holes are extremely unforgiving; the par-3 13th features out-of-bounds behind the green, water at the front and a rock face to consider too.

Lake Course:
While much flatter than its sister course, the Lake course is nearly 200 yards longer at 7127 yards. Despite almost every hole featuring a water hazard of some kind, they are all different, using the lakes, ponds and waterfalls to create unique tests. This course is more popular with the higher handicappers due to the flatter terrain, but with lots of hazards and some monstrous par 5s, it can still catch you out.

The clubhouse is a modern structure with some of the best facilities in Saigon including luxurious locker rooms and a fully equipped pro shop. Atmospheric restaurants are also on-site, serving both Asian and Western dishes while outside is a driving range and putting green for golfers to hone their skills before or after their round.
