Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club was established in 2012 and since then has been voted as the best championship courses in Vietnam and the 5th best course in the country.
The 36 holes across the Sky and Lake courses both offer distinctly different challenges, both to PGA standard. The Resort is just one hour from Hanoi city centre.

Lake Course:
The Lake Course was voted the most challenging course in Vietnam in 2012 and it's easy to see why. The championship layout allows very little room for error, with accuracy off the tee an absolute must if you wish to shoot a low score. Playing around the Van Son Lake, after which the course is named, there is naturally water hazards on many of the holes, with the backdrop of the surrounding mountains, a stunning setting for any round of golf. The rolling fairways mean you will rarely hit a shot from a flat surface, while missing them ensues a stark punishment with the heavy, thick rough incredibly hard to get out of. Along with all these hazards, if you you dare play the back tees, the course plays at a monstrous 7,577 yards.

Sky Course:
The Sky course is by no means inferior, but is far more accommodating for the higher handicappers than its sister course. Playing at 200 yards less from the back tees, the fairways are also wider with less punishment on offer for inaccurate tee shots. The beauty of the Lake course is definitely continued onto this public course, with Vietnamese forests surrounding the 18 holes and views over the distant farmland can be enjoyed from the elevated points of the course.

The modern clubhouse offers brilliant services to all visiting golfers including a fully-stocked pro shop, selling golf equipment from renowned brands and the luxurious Sky Restaurant, serving Asian and Western dishes. The club has plans to develop a golf academy, a 296 room hotel, 295 golf villas, 19 resort villas and 48 terraced houses, which would make it one of the biggest golf resorts in Asia.
