Located between Da Nang and Hoi An, Montgomerie Links Golf Course is an elite championship links course designed by 2010 Ryder Cup captain, Colin Montgomerie.

Having opened in 2008, the course quickly rose to fame and was awarded the best course in Vietnam in 2016; its magnificent layout is set at the bottom of Marble Mountains just off the Central coast and the My Khe Beach, one of the top ten beaches in the world.
    Montgomerie Links
The course boasts a traditional links layout and its location just off the coast means golfers will experience some typical links conditions also. The natural features which form the course give it bundles of character, from the rolling sand dunes to the thick rough and grass that border the fairways. However, the course is also home to many uncharacteristic features of a links course, with lakes and streams winding through many of the holes, adding to both the hazards and beauty of the course. On the undulating fairways golfers will have to navigate round several bunkers which have been strategically placed, making the journey to rolling greens all the more difficult. The course starts with a long par-5 which will favour the big hitters as the second shot is all about positioning and the closer you are to the green, the better chance you have of a birdie. With no particular signature hole, the course has the ability to strike fear into the eye of golfers on the tee box, despite not playing overly long by modern standards. This is evident on hole 11, an uphill par-3 towards a green protected by five devastating bunkers which should be avoided at all costs - consider the elevation, coastal wind and these hazards when choosing your club.

The clubhouse at Montgomerie Links Vietnam is both spacious and modern, offering golfers the perfect respite to relax after their round. The facilities within the clubhouse are seriously impressive, with two pro shops, locker rooms and even a sauna and jacuzzi. Dining at the clubhouse is best enjoyed at Birdies Restaurant, located on the ground floor and offering brilliant views across the golf course, serving a range of dishes across international cuisines. For a less formal bite to eat, the Links Cafe offers a selection of Asian dishes. For added practice, golfers can head to the modern 30-bay driving range as well as a chipping and putting area.
