Vietnam Golf & Country Club is considered as the best of its kind in Vietnam and was the country's first 36-hole golf club.
The club is comprised of two championship courses and has twice been voted as the Asia's second best golf course. The convenient location of the club makes it the closest to the city of Ho Chi Minh, just 20 kilometers from the city centre.

West Course:
The West Course was opened in 1994 and boasts a traditional woodland layout. Having hosted the Vietnam Open in both 1995 and 1997, the course can be a challenge to low handicappers with tight fairways lined by palm trees and super-fast Bermuda grass greens. Playing at 6835 yards from the back tees, length off the tee may be an issue for some, especially with some uniquely placed trees in the centre of the fairway. The signature hole on the west course is the 11th. At 408 yards this can be a tough par 4, with many obstacles in the way before reaching the shallow green, including a fairway split by a central tree and bunkers in the approach landing area.

East Course:
Designed by charismatic golfing legend Lee Trevino, the East Course is 3 years younger than the West and while longer off the back tees, is a bit more generous in its design. Less trees line the fairways on this track but features 110 strategically placed bunkers, various water hazards and undulating greens. This course demands intelligent course management and some smart set-up play to give yourself the best chance of scoring low.
